Fred Hampton and The Black Panther Party: Survival Pending Revolution
Show Notes Chapter Markers

Have you ever heard of the Black Panther Party? Those fist-raising, gun-toting idealists of the 60s and 70s?
Join us as we take a tour though the history of the Panthers, their members (both famous and unsung) and the forces that caused their creation and their downfall.
The names of Bobby Seale, Huey P. Newton and of course Fred Hampton are perhaps most well known.
But why were they targeted by COINTELPRO of the FBI? Were they the vanguard of the revolution?  A threat to the internal security of the nation? Did they create messiahs or pariahs?

You decide.
