By now, you've probably heard all kinds of things about what happened at Capitol Hill on January 6th, 2021. If you watched any of the footage from the "Insurrection" you probably have a few questions.
How did this happen ? Who's to blame? What's going to happen moving forward?
One would think that, in a post 9/11 world, this kind of massive security failure, despite numerous warnings prior to the event, would be impossible. Though details are still evolving, numerous videos have proven otherwise.
These security failings (and the subsequent fear that followed) lead some of the same politicians that once called for "defunding the police" to now call on the establishment to ramp up the powers of the police-state to respond to this new threat of domestic terrorists. Even the Speaker of the House wanted to have crew-serviced belt-fed machine guns on every corner. 25,000 fully-armed National Guard members remained at the Capitol well after the inauguration. And new legislation is being drafted to keep the new 7 ft wall around the "green zone" permanent.
In addition, big-tech companies--along with the establishment media--have teamed up to help by intensifying their campaign of censorship. Some even going as far as hiring professional snitches and keyboard warriors encouraged to make lists of names and businesses who may have collaborated with the rioters.
What is the cause of all of this division? What response is needed to heal our divide? What does this all mean for America?
